Users, Roles & Admins

Users are individuals with access to the Empeon Workforce system. Access and permissions can be customized based on how the individual is expected to interact with the system. Users may include internal staff members or external individuals outside the organization.

The level of access granted to a User is defined by their "Role." Roles determine what a User can view and do within the Empeon Workforce system, helping to limit exposure to sensitive information and reduce the risk of incorrect or unnecessary changes. While pre-loaded Roles are available, Custom Roles can also be created to tailor access according to specific needs. For more details on creating a Role, refer to Empeon's article: Creating Roles for Workforce Users.

An "Admin" is a specific Role that grants full access to the Empeon Workforce system. Admins have the ability to view all aspects of the system and make any necessary changes or updates. Admins can be set up to operate at an organizational level, with access to all companies within the organization, or at a company level, with access to one or multiple specific companies.

For additional information on adding a User and what to consider, refer to Empeon's article: Administering Workforce Users.
