Sending Paths to Multiple Employees

To send a Path to multiple employees at a time, navigate to the Share section within the Actions tab, and then select the Paths tabs. Paths that have already been shared with employees will be displayed here, with the option to share a Path simply by clicking the blue “Share Path” button in the top right corner of the screen.

Actions - Share - Paths

The system will then prompt for the selection of the appropriate Path, and who the Path should be sent to. An optional message field is available, which can be used to provide instructions to the recipient regarding the Path and its completion.

The Path can be sent to All Employees or Specific Employees based on their assigned Cost Centers or Job Info. For example, to send this Path only to direct care staff such as RN's, CNA's, and LPN's, select “Specific Employees”, filter by “Position”, and choose the relevant positions the Path should be sent to.

After all fields have been completed, click “Next” to move onto a confirmation screen. On the Confirmation screen, there is a “Send” button that will initiate the transmission of the Path to the selected employees. It will also offer the option to go “Back” if anything on the Confirmation screen looks incorrect.

After clicking “Send”, the selected recipients will receive an email notification alerting them that a Path has been sent. The Path can be accessed through this email or directly from the Inbox on their ESS Hub.

Please note that sending a Path this way to multiple employees applies only to Active Employees. This process will not work for newly hired employees who need a Path included within their onboarding packet. For guidance on incorporating a Path within an onboarding packet, refer to Empeon's article Onboarding Templates.

Paths can also be sent to individual employees within their Employee Profile. For guidance on this, please refer to Empeon's article Sending Paths to Individual Employees.

After the sending a Path, it is important to monitor the progress and completion status for each recipient that Path was sent to. For guidance on this, please refer to Empeon's article Viewing Path Results.
