Employees with existing ESS login credentials do not need separate credentials for access to multiple company profiles. Their account can be linked, allowing them to sign in once and switch between profiles as needed.
This article outlines the steps an employee needs to take after receiving the ESS invitation to link their existing ESS account with a new company profile.
- Registration Email - After creating the ESS account for the employee, an email invitation will be sent to the employee's personal email listed on their Employee Profile. The email will look like this and the employee will need to click the blue "Register Account" button in order to proceed:
- Verify Identity - The first step in registration is verifying the recipient's identity by confirming the last four digits of their Social Security Number. This ensures the ESS invitation was sent to the correct recipient.
- Confirm Email Address - The email entered here must match the one used for the existing ESS login credentials in order to successfully link the accounts. Click the blue "Next" button to proceed.
- Link Accounts - A screen will appear stating that the email address is already associated with another ESS account. The options are to link the account with the existing credentials or use a different email address. To link the account, select "Link accounts".
- Enter Login Credentials to Link Accounts - Enter the existing login credentials and confirm the last four digits of the Social Security Number once more. Then click "Link Accounts".
- Go to Sign-In - A confirmation screen will appear confirming that the account was linked successfully. Click "Go to sign in" to login into the ESS Hub.
- Sign-In & Select Company - Upon signing into the ESS Hub, employees who have successfully linked their ESS Account will first be presented with the option to select which company to log into.
Once within the ESS Hub for the selected company, navigation between companies is still possible. In the top left corner, a dropdown next to the company name allows for toggling between companies.
