NEW! Employee Onboarding Module

As with all of our features and products, Employee Onboarding is a home-grown solution, built by our dedicated development team, and is part of our mission to provide a true, all-in-one, robust Human Capital Management application. Our Onboarding solution empowers organizations to:

  • Build the teams they need from anywhere in the world.
  • Exhibit a modern and organized welcome process for their new hires.
  • Make a good and positive first impression.
  • Reduce administrative overhead involved in onboarding new hires.

Our onboarding solution, provides employers with a seamless and hassle-free onboarding experience that allows you to send, track, and manage the progress of your new hires.

The new hire is then guided through an engaging and streamlined experience of completing their onboarding packet. The system will walk them through filling in their information and signing the necessary documents. The Employee experience is both Desktop and Mobile friendly.

During the onboarding process, documents are automatically filled out with employee data, and are electronically signed. Employers can also review and sign documents as applicable.

After all steps have been completed, the employer can review all of the details, provide additional information, and approve the hire.

Empeon Onboarding is flexible and configurable, allowing organizations to customize the information to collect, information to be completed by the employee, information to be completed by the employer, and assigning responsibility for the approval of new hires.

NEW! Document Library/Document Builder

Empeon's robust document builder allows organizations to digitalize their onboarding documents, to offer a paperless onboarding experience. The Document Library can be found under Company > Documents.

Upload your document and click Customize. Then, simply drag and drop fields onto the document. Auto populated fields will auto-fill the information into the document. Input fields allow the user to enter data into the document. The fields can be plain text fields, dropdowns, signatures, and more.

Each input field can be designated for completion by the employee or employer, as well as whether the field is required or not.

Once the document has been completed and saved, it is ready to be included in a new hire packet.

Copy Company Settings to other Companies

Many company settings can now be copied from one company to another. For example, Earning Codes can be copied from one company to multiple companies.

Two Factor Security Authentication - Authenticate Via Email

Users can now request the two-factor login authentication code to be sent via email. Previously, the only option was via text message.

Last Date Worked Field for Termination Records

We added a Last Date Worked field to the Employment Status card. This allows employers to record the actual last day that a terminated employee worked, if the last day worked is not the same as the termination date.

Payroll Verification - Display settings are now saved

The Display settings for the payroll verification detail grid are now automatically saved.

Employee Accruals - Override Settings

In the employee accruals card, users now have a setting “Override only if greater than policy”. If selected, the override will only be applied if the value of the override is higher than the company's accrual policy.

Dependent Card Updates

We added the following fields to Employee dependents.

  • Added Domestic partner as a relationship
  • Option to mark a dependent as a student
  • Option to mark a dependent as Disabled

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: When processing payroll for an employee with a Filing Form of “Other” a warning would come up saying “missing tax codes”. This is now fixed.
  • Fixed: Live reports > Custom Transaction Report – In some scenarios, code groups were not applying properly. This is now fixed.
  • Fixed: In some scenarios, when removing columns from a Live Report, columns would not be removed properly. This is now fixed.
  • Fixed: In some scenarios, users with custom roles weren't able to access Wage parity, Job Codes and Code Group setup.
