Clock Displays “Face Module Not Found”

If your clock is showing the error “Face Module Not Found,” the device is unable to detect the facial recognition hardware.


Common Causes & Troubleshooting Steps

1. Clock Needs a Reboot

  • Reboot through the clock settings (press and hold the Empeon logo for 2 seconds and choose reboot option) or disconnect power.

  • After the reset, check if the face module loads correctly.

2. Loose or Disconnected Cable

  • The connection cable for the facial recognition module may be loose.

  • If comfortable, check the internal cable connections or contact support for assistance.


Tip: Quick Test

If the error reappears after reset and reboot, it’s most likely a cable issue or hardware failure rather than user error.
